Grandma

I was trying to find a picture of Grandma that was "her". Didn't work. I need to ask Aunt Rosalie or Aunt Kay if she might have one of Grandma sewing the little dolls she made -I will try to get a picture of them to show you they were wonderful. Or a picture of her in her garden she had a big floppy straw hat she wore.
The picture with the book is a good one as she read a lot. She wrote notes on the front of the readers digest by the title of each article, how she liked the story or who she thought would. Newspaper and other magazines were passed along with notes in the margins.

Grandpa at the grinder

This is one of my favorite photos. I can hear Grandpa whistling while he sharpened the mower sickle bar.

membership card

Grandpa kept items like this membership card I love the connection it lets me feel with that part of his life
